UCAS Conservatoires 2024 application opens

• Applications are open for 2024 entry and can be sent to conservatoires
• Conservatoires can make decisions

2 October closing date (18:00)

For music applications

• Applicants to dance, drama and musical theatre courses may have a different deadline
• Applicants should check the conservatoire websites for information
• Applications received after today are classed as ‘late’ regardless of the course deadline. But equal consideration should be given if they apply by the deadline stated on the conservatoire's website

Closing date for most undergraduate dance, drama, or musical theatre courses

• Conservatoire websites must have clear information about course deadlines

DBD deadline

• Outstanding applicant replies declined by default (DBD) if their last decision was received by 3 January

w/c 5 February

Conservatoires can close courses with 31 January deadline

• Conservatoires will be notified when they can close courses

15 March

Decisions due on applications received by 31 January

10 April 

DBD deadline 

• Outstanding applicant replies declined by default (DBD) if the last decision was received by 15 March

5 June 

DBD deadline 

• Outstanding applicant replies declined by default (DBD) if the last decision was received by 15 May

10 July 

RBD deadline 

• All outstanding decisions on applications received by 1 May will be rejected by default (RBD) – including Audition Pending (AP) transactions

25 July

Last date to amend decision where no reply has been recorded against the offer

24 July 

DBD deadline

• Outstanding applicant replies declined by default (DBD) if the last decision was received by 10 July

RBD deadline

• All outstanding decisions on applications received by 5 June will be rejected by default (RBD) – including Audition Pending (AP) transactions

• The Delayed Confirmation (DCF) decision facility is now available

• All outstanding decisions rejected by default (RBD) – except DCF decisions
• All outstanding replies declined by default (DBD)

Last day to submit acceptances using a Record of Prior Acceptance (RPA) 

25 October 

2024 cycle closes

In the collection tool, archive any courses which are no longer running.

27 November

Final RBD deadline

• All outstanding Delayed Confirmation (DCF) decisions from the 2024 cycle will be rejected by default
